Course overview
Beauty Revealed is a cycle awareness charting system
for young women, ages 16 to 22.

 The program is designed for young women whose menstrual cycles are approaching or have reached the reproductive stage of maturity.  Beauty Revealed uses a sympto-hormonal approach to give young women experience charting all of their signs.  Your daughter will then choose the signs that she wishes to chart and her
instructor will customize the system for her.

  Beauty Revealed corresponds to the learning stages of Adolescence in One's Plan in Life and Toward Adulthood, as listed in The Pontifical Council for the Family’s document, The Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality, and can be adapted for both
the high school and college-aged student. 

High School students take the course alongside their mothers and attend follow-up sessions with mom.  This method of instruction emulates the role of mother as primary educator and allows daughter to take greater responsibility for charting. 

College-aged students who are at least 18 years old may register for the course independently and attend follow-up on their own.  This method of instruction recognizes the young woman as an adult and encourages her to take responsibility for her reproductive health in an environment that honors God's plan for love and sexuality and the teachings of her Catholic faith.

observable or measurable signs within a woman’s body that give her important information about her fertility status, her hormonal function, and her menstrual health

Cycle Phases

distinct stages of progression in the menstrual cycle, each guided by a dominant hormone and characterized by specific biomarker changes

What does a Beauty Revealed chart look like?

"In 18 years of teaching Natural Family Planning, what I have consistently heard from young women in their 20's is "I wish that someone had taught me this in high school."  The Beauty Revealed Program is an answer to that request and I hope that it will be a great blessing to many young women!"

In addition to observation, charting, and interpretation, the Beauty Revealed Charting System:

teaches young women how to live a healthy culture of the body

introduces young women to God’s plan for love and sexuality by teaching them the theology of natural family planning

focuses on an authentic Catholic Identity Formation



enables young women to identify irregular cycle

patterns and monitor their reproductive health

and

 includes a “cycle seasons” nutrition coaching system to enable young women to improve unpleasant cycle symptoms and maintain a healthy cycle
